UNIVERSITY OF TORONTO CHARITY FASHION SHOW
As a Stylist and Creative Director for the University of Toronto Charity Fashion Show, I played a key role in bringing the show’s Avant-Garde theme to life through bold styling, strategic brand partnerships, and immersive visual storytelling.
Over the course of several months, I was responsible for curating and assembling ten editorial-level looks—each one aligned with the show's experimental vision. This process involved liaising with nine fashion brands to secure garment loans, coordinating fittings with models, and conceptualizing each ensemble to ensure cohesion with the overall creative direction.
In addition to styling, I helped lead the show's artistic production by overseeing key logistical and sensory elements such as lighting, music direction, and set decor. These elements were thoughtfully selected to heighten the emotional impact of the runway and immerse the audience in the avant-garde narrative.
The final show was held at The Symes, a historic venue in Toronto, and drew a large audience of students, creatives, and fashion industry peers. All proceeds from the event supported the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH), Canada’s largest mental health teaching hospital and research center.
This experience allowed me to merge creativity with purpose, demonstrating my ability to manage a project from concept to execution while collaborating across teams, meeting deadlines, and staying aligned with a greater social cause.
