ADVERTISING PROJECT
During my time at Geometry Global, I was assigned a conceptual design project that challenged me to create a thought-provoking visual in the form of a minimal, logo-style advertisement. The objective was to explore the principle that less is more—demonstrating how simplicity can communicate meaning just as powerfully as complexity.
For the assignment, I was given the theme "education" and the brand Apple. Using Adobe Illustrator, I developed both a slogan and a visual concept that aligned with Apple’s sleek, modern design language. After researching the brand’s role in learning environments and its broader cultural impact, I crafted the slogan "Feeding Minds (since 1976)." This phrase ties Apple’s origin story to its ongoing influence in education—positioning the brand as a provider of knowledge through its technology, tools, and platforms.
The visual design centers around the metaphor of mental nourishment. The image depicts a person seemingly about to consume an Apple logo, symbolizing the intake of knowledge through the brand’s ecosystem. To emphasize this idea, I kept the illustration largely monochromatic, using color only within the Apple logo. This design choice highlights the logo as the vibrant, layered source of intellectual stimulation. Each color within the logo represents the multifaceted offerings Apple brings to users: from educational apps to creative tools to communication platforms.
I concluded the project with a formal presentation to the digital marketing agency team, including the CEO, articulating my design choices, conceptual rationale, and how the work aligned with brand strategy and visual identity.
